Thus, it ends
Officially, the Great Boston Experiment has ended.
Really, it was over in April when I gave up on working as a freelance writer for home in exchange for better paying, less than satisfying jobs. Finally, though, the Great Boston Experiment officially ended at the start of February when we moved away from the Boston suburbs to Springfield, Mass.
We were fed up with our small apartment, crappy neighbors and poor landlord, so we decided to move. Rather than follow-up on our original plan and move closer to the city (We did look at some nice places in South Boston), we sought out a much larger place for a more reasonable price in the lower rent Western Massachusetts.
I’ll follow-up this post with some insights into the now failed Great Boston Experiment, but one year and six months into this crazy life-altering event, I’m officially calling it: It’s over.
